GREEN ROMAN COPE AND STOLE SET WITH IHS EMBROIDERY

This set consists of a Cope and a matching Stole. The material of the garments is Church Brocade/ Damask fabric with Cross designs and the Orphrey Embroidery is done in Gold Directly on the Brocade fabric  with Cross, Rose ,Wheat and  Grape Embroidery. The hood of the cope is U shaped and is made with a matching Brocade fabric and is embroidered with IHS Motif along with Rose ,Wheat and  Grape Embroidery around the IHS and has CANVAS interfacing.

• Height of the Cope: 60 inches (152 cm) from neck to bottom
• Stole: 52 inches from shoulder to bottom (108 inches from end to end including the fringes)
• The interior of the cope is lined with matching Satin Fabric.

Cope: The Cope is a liturgical vestment, which looks like a long mantle or cloak made from a semicircular piece of fabric, open in the front and fastened at the breast with a hook or clasp. It may be of any liturgical color.
